Employment and financial crisis

I cannot believe that I have lost my job yet again. LBM just do not care for their staff and employ so many people that their managers cannot handle. Maybe call centre is not for me but I am not getting any job offers for anything else. My confidence is shattered and it is not helped by a lack of motivation to apply for other jobs and spending too many hours watching TV and sleeping. Not things that are conducive to a successful career.

There are several practical approaches that I need to engage in. For example, updating my CV and Website, getting back in contact with the business fraternity AKPSI, making speculative applications, creating demos, evaluating and researching career paths, and making employer visits where appropriate.

Also, my debt need to go down. This can be done by getting employment that I want to do for several months or years, selling things and trying to get money through business ideas and freelance activities. These include Web design, proofreading/technical writing and selling things on ebay. There is little I can do about bills that I am paying, loans that I am paying back and debt on my credit card unless I am working and getting 14K +.

Anti War March

Last Saturday I met up with Lesley and walked down to St Annes square for the anti war march. There was a great gathering of people, a stage set up, a large screen and various speeches. I brought my little DV camera along and took hundreds of photos and video clips of the march. There were placards with stop the war messages and of Bush and Blair. We sat at a cafe for a while before the march started.

Along the march we met other people and several dogs (Lesley loves her dogs). Police lined the streets but I saw no trouble and the experience of shouting slogans in a crowd with meaning and purpose was exhilarating. It was quite a short route through central Manchester and down Deansgate but it took 2 hours and we tired quickly.

Afterwards we had more coffee and hung around the square for more announcements. It was a lovely day and it is apparent that climate change is occuring because this summer is an unusually hot one. So much for capitalism and the friendship between Bush and Blair. I think it is a grave mistake to have troops in Iraq and Afghanistan when most people there and here alike do not want them there and it is costing taxpayers loads of money.

Quantum Consciousness

Link of mind/soul to physical world and other dimensions that are invisible to our physical world (for example heaven, hell, nirvana, parallel worlds). Process of death and rebirth and transference of mind (degree of control related to control of mind and karma). Buddhist enlightenment is the front door.

Process message sent to my brain - research quantum thoughts and control via consiousness. Illustration of process by diagram (mind - tunnel - other reality - back).

Back door is through use of mental force, psychedelics and psychic/miracle powers. Does not guarantee eternal bliss but you will still or are more likely to remember who you are. Examples include shamans, castaneda, leary, icke (parallel between his reptilian concepts, the matrix agents and the concepts of good, evil and ignorant). Messages from people and cat knowing I was about to open fridge for milk, consciousness link to higher dimensions (animals may be this in reverse hence power animals), evolution, miracles etc.

3D Art

There are several ways of generating 3D art. After coming back from Barry and acquiring a Doctor Who 3D book I thought of the possibility of creating my own 3D art. There are several possibilities including analygraphs (using 3D glasses and software), stereograms (some computer programs can create these), 3D computer models, holograms and 3D representations of 4D and timedependent phenomena (such as time lapse, dimension slicing of n-dimensional data).

I should investigate these in more detail and produce some of my own work. This could bolster my portfolio, website and may even be sold on places like ebay. Time to do some research.

The cat and the inept System

I cannot believe my luck. Firstly, the bus was late in the morning (but not so late that I missed the start of work). After a session of presentations (including the one we did on music choice) at work we had another hideous e-learning session covering the system (database) that we are going to use in the call centre. One of the sections was too long and I forgot the process halfway through. Also, the beeping in the headset was annoying and frustrating. Then our trainer told us that we may have to use lunchtime and/or stay in after to complete it. This is not on.

When I got back home after a fight to get some ALDI shopping done, I detect an unpleasant smell. Thinking it to be the toilet I cleaned and disinfected it. Then I noticed the note left my friends and found cat poo all over my dirty laundry. They should have let Merlin the cat out when they left earlier. Also, he was hungry and not liking the food left to eat. There is still no sign of the owner who must have treated the cat poorly as he was so thin.

Then I opened my mail. I just cannot believe it - the stupid council have suspended my housing and council tax benefit for a reason other than starting a new job. They have suspended my benefit from the 14th August yet I filled out a form and got a receipt for it dated 11th August (handed into Withington library). Either they did not get the form or they have lost it in admin. Stupid idiots - that money is worth £300 (including the 4 week run on) and it need it in my account this month.
